Job Purpose
As Key Account Manager Hematology & Oncology, Rare Diseases Germany, you will be responsible for developing and managing relationships with key customers, healthcare professionals, hospitals and other relevant stakeholders within your assigned territory.
Your primary objective will be to increase disease awareness, improve patient pathways and ensure that eligible patients affected by rare hematological and oncological diseases have access to appropriate treatment options.
Combining strong scientific understanding with commercial expertise, you will translate complex clinical information into relevant value propositions for healthcare professionals and other decision-makers. Through effective territory and account management, you will identify growth opportunities, strengthen existing partnerships and build sustainable relationships with new customers.
Working closely with Medical Affairs, Marketing, Market Access and other cross-functional colleagues, you will implement the national strategy at a regional level and contribute to the achievement of commercial objectives for the Recordati Rare Diseases portfolio.
This is a field-based and customer-focused role with accountability for business results within the assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage, expand, and provide therapeutic and scientific support for the existing network of clients and KOLs
- Select clients and identify potential prescribers for our product portfolio
- Continuously expand the client base and refine the relevant target audience
- Consistently implement the company’s strategy and initiatives to ensure that goals are met while addressing the individual needs of each client and target group
- Develop account plans to support growth-oriented revenue and profit planning
- Responsibly allocate the assigned budget for client development
- Develop innovative training concepts based on current client needs
- Participate in conferences, sponsored events, and other meetings as opportunities for customer engagement and personal development
- Educate customers about complex diagnostic and treatment scenarios, raise awareness of rare diseases and orphan drugs, and support the development of healthcare networks
- Complete reporting and general administrative tasks
- Assist in the creation of brochures and materials for customer
Required Education
- Completed degree in life sciences, pharmacy, medicine, natural sciences or a comparable discipline
- Alternatively, an equivalent qualification and relevant professional experience in the pharmaceutical industry
- Required pharmaceutical sales qualification pursuant to Section 75 of the German Medicinal Products Act, where applicable

- Existing hospital network in niche products and regional physician network desirable
- Strong team player with the ability to work independently and proactively
- Strong sales orientation, excellent communication, and presentation skills
- Positive attitude and solution-oriented mindset
- Excellent interpersonal skills for effective teamwork
Required Languages
- Fluency in German, both written and spoken
- Very good command of English, both written and spoken
