Overview of the role
IFX Payments has a dedicated funds desk in our Dubai, UAE office, with a funds specialist already in place and our first fund clients recently onboarded. We are now growing the team with two Key Relationship Manager, Funds to build on that momentum. You will win and grow relationships with fund managers, fund administrators, corporate service providers and the wider fund ecosystem across DIFC and ADGM.
The funds market here runs on trust and referrals. You will already know how funds are set up, administered and banked, and you will use that credibility to position IFX as the go-to partner for multi-currency accounts, FX and payments across a manager's funds, SPVs and portfolio structures.

You will own the full sales cycle, from introduction and needs discovery through onboarding and account growth. The desk is still early, so you will have real scope to shape how it grows.
Key Responsibilities
1. Market mapping and targeting
o Map the DIFC and ADGM funds landscape: fund managers, family offices, fund administrators, corporate service providers, law firms and auditors.
o Identify and prioritise target accounts, and track new fund launches, licence approvals and regulatory changes that create opportunities.
2. Relationship-led business development
o Build a pipeline through introductions, referrals, industry events and our partner network.
o Represent IFX at networking sessions and industry events in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, and follow up every introduction with purpose.
3. Client acquisition
o Lead the end-to-end sales process: discovery, solution design, proposal, commercial negotiation and close.
o Understand how each client's structures fit together (master funds, feeders, SPVs, GPs and management companies) and tailor account, FX and payment solutions to match.
o Present IFX's proposition clearly to managing partners, CFOs, COOs and heads of fund operations.
4. Onboarding and client experience
o Guide clients through KYC and onboarding with our compliance and onboarding teams, anticipating the documents fund structures need so accounts go live quickly.
o Set clear expectations on timelines and act as the client's main point of contact through go-live.
5. Account growth and retention
o Grow each relationship as the client launches new funds and SPVs, adding entities, currencies and payment flows.
o Run regular account reviews and identify cross-sell opportunities, including referrals to our corporate desk.
6. Intermediary and referral partnerships
o Develop referral relationships with fund administrators, corporate service providers and advisers who can introduce multiple clients.
o Keep partners informed and engaged so IFX stays front of mind for their clients.
7. Pipeline management and reporting
o Record all activity, opportunities and client interactions in Salesforce, keeping the pipeline accurate and current.
o Report progress against targets to the Sales Director and adjust plans as needed.
8. Collaboration and market intelligence
o Work with marketing on funds-specific campaigns, content and events.
o Share market feedback on product gaps, pricing and competitor activity to shape the funds proposition.
9. Risk management and compliance
o Ensure all sales activity complies with DFSA and FSRA requirements and IFX policy.
o Work closely with compliance on AML, KYC and sanctions requirements for every client and structure.
