Kotlin Developer

Job Description

We're looking for a skilled Kotlin Developer to design, develop, and maintain our Android applications and backend services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Kotlin programming, Android development, and software engineering principles for the development of solutions for POS devices. S/he will work closely with our cross-functional team to deliver high-quality financial products and services for our clients.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality Android applications and backend services using Kotlin

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, and quality assurance, to identify and prioritize project requirements

• Participate in code reviews, ensure adherence to coding standards, and contribute to the improvement of the codebase

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring timely delivery of projects and maintenance of existing systems

• Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in Kotlin and Android development

Requirements

• BSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in Kotlin programming and Android development for POS devices

• Strong knowledge of Kotlin, Android SDK, and Android architecture components

• Experience with backend services, APIs, and data storage solutions (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB)

• Familiarity with agile development methodologies and version control systems (e.g., Git)

• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure

• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a distributed team environment

• Experience with fintech or banking industry

• Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance

• Familiarity with cloud-based technologies (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud)

• Experience with DevOps practices and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
