REQUIREMENTS

  • Matric (Grade 12) as a minimum; a National Diploma or relevant NQF Level 6 qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain, or International Trade is advantageous
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in ocean freight export operations at a freight forwarder or NVOCC, with hands-on LCL export experience
  • Demonstrable knowledge of export documentation, freight consolidation, CFS operations, and weight/measurement (W/M) rating

  • Proficiency with a freight forwarding or Transportation Management System (TMS)
  • Ability to work full-time during US Eastern Standard Time business hours

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

  • Direct experience handling US LCL export shipments and working with US co-loader networks
  • Familiarity with AES/EEI filing requirements and US export regulations
  • Experience coordinating FCL exports or handling hazardous cargo (IMDG-classified shipments)
  • Prior experience communicating with international logistics partners and US-based customers in a remote or agency environment
