Lead Consultant - SAP Master Data Management | Hybrid | Mid-shift

About the role

We are seeking a SAP Master Data Management Lead Consultant to join AVENSYS CONSULTING INC. in Taguig City, Metro Manila on a full-time basis. This is a strategic position that will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and optimizing master data management solutions within SAP environments. As a Lead Consultant, you will be responsible for guiding clients through complex data governance challenges, ensuring data quality and consistency across their enterprise systems. This role is fundamental to delivering high-impact consulting services and will position you as a key technical authority within our organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of master data management solutions within SAP environments for multiple client engagements
• Conduct comprehensive assessments of client data landscapes and identify opportunities for improvement in data governance and quality
• Develop and document master data management strategies, policies, and processes aligned with business objectives
• Manage data cleansing, enrichment and migration activities to ensure data integrity and consistency
• Provide technical guidance on SAP MDM (Master Data Management) modules, including configuration and best practices
• Mentor and oversee junior consultants, ensuring delivery of quality solutions and knowledge transfer
• Facilitate stakeholder workshops and communicate complex data concepts to technical and business teams
• Develop and deliver training programmes to ensure client teams can effectively manage and maintain master data
• Stay current with SAP MDM developments and industry best practices, bringing innovative solutions to client challenges

What we're looking for

• Minimum 7-10+ years of professional experience in SAP master data management consulting or implementation roles
• Proven expertise in SAP MDM modules, including data governance, data quality management and integration
• Deep understanding of master data concepts including customer, supplier, product and material master data management
• Strong experience with data mapping, data cleansing tools and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes
• Demonstrated ability to lead complex projects from discovery through to successful implementation and go-live
• Excellent knowledge of SAP system architecture and how MDM integrates with other SAP modules
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Outstanding communication and stakeholder management abilities, with the capacity to influence both technical and executive audiences
• Experience mentoring and developing junior team members
• Relevant SAP certifications (such as SAP MDM certification) highly preferred
• Professional certifications in data management or related fields would be advantageous
