About Entity
Entity is building the destination for high calibre games on the web. A curated catalogue of bestselling full-scale game titles running natively in the browser: click a link and you’re playing in seconds on the device you already own.
There are no downloads, no installs and no new hardware. This new low-friction way of playing games is powered by the latest developments in web technologies such as WebAssembly and WebGPU, allowing us to render high-quality game experiences on your device. This is not a game streaming service; this is the power of the New Web.
For developers, we’re the official, licensed channel for proper games on the web. We offer self-serve D2C tools to publish, operate and grow their games, with social play, identity and a unique end-to-end business analytics suite built in.
We’ve signed top-tier publishers representing many millions of unit sales on PC and console to date and are preparing for our launch in 2027.
We’re early, funded and moving fast. Joining Entity at this stage is a rare opportunity to help shape our company and our mission. We are an AI-native business; embracing the latest technologies and tools is essential to being successful with us.
About the Role
We're hiring a Senior Data Analyst to own Entity's data end to end: deciding what we measure, making sure we capture it, and turning it into clear answers for the team, our investors and our game partners.
You'll define how we understand the performance of our platform and of every game on it, including player performance KPIs, social and viral growth, and the return on our growth and influencer campaigns, and much more. You'll work closely with engineering to build the tracking we need and with our growth team to make sure every campaign can be measured properly. This role is the centre of our intelligence operation. We have a unique end-to-end level of data transparency and access that unlocks huge value for ourselves and are game developers who chose us.
This is a role with real ownership at an early stage. The metrics, models and reporting you build will shape how Entity makes decisions as we grow.
Key Responsibilities
- Own Entity's data end to end: what we track, how it's defined, what insights it gives us and how we can leverage those insights.
- Define the core metrics for the platform and the per-game performance, including acquisition, engagement, retention and monetisation.
- Shape our developer analytics dashboard / business intelligence suite, a core part of our offering to developers: decide which metrics developers see for their games, give useful insights and decide how they're presented, working with product and engineering to create something truly valuable
- Work closely with CEO and finance team to create commercial reports and investor ready documents, helping use data to communicate business successes and find opportunities
- Work with product and engineering teams to specify the event tracking and pipelines we need for new features, and make sure the data is accurate.
- Partner with the growth team so every campaign is measurable, including the influencer and creator campaigns that drive most of our acquisition.
- Build dashboards that give internal teams self-serve access to the numbers they need.
- Present data clearly to internal teams, investors, the board and external partners, adapting depth and format to each.
Requirements
- 5+ years' experience in data analysis, with significant experience in games, gaming platforms, igaming or consumer apps with large player or user bases.
- Deep demonstrable familiarity with the latest AI tools and capabilities and how that affects data analysis and approaches
- Deep understanding of game and platform metrics, including retention cohorts, engagement, monetisation, LTV and virality measures such as K-factor.
- Experience measuring user acquisition, including attribution, funnel analysis and campaign performance.
- Experience measuring influencer or creator-led campaigns.
- Advanced SQL and strong experience with a scripting language such as Python or R.
- Hands-on experience with data warehouses, product analytics and BI tools.
- Experience working with engineers to define event tracking and data schemas.
- The ability to explain complex data simply and credibly to non-technical audiences, including senior leadership and investors.
- Comfort owning a data function independently in an early-stage company.
- Based in the UK or Ireland, with the right to work there.
Nice to Have
- Experience at a games platform, storefront or publisher, analysing performance across many titles.
- Experience designing analytics for external customers or partners, such as a developer or creator dashboard.
- Hands-on data engineering experience, such as building pipelines or data models, to help shape that work with our engineering team.
- Experience setting up a data function from scratch.
- Experience with experimentation and A/B testing.
- Experience with social or community features, and measuring their effect on retention and growth.
- Experience preparing data for investor or board reporting.
- Familiarity with privacy and data protection requirements such as GDPR.
Working Conditions
Entity is remote-first, but this role is only open to candidates based in the UK or Ireland, with a suitable home-working setup. We value autonomy, clear ownership, and outcome-driven work. Some flexibility in working hours is expected to support collaboration across the team. Occasional travel may be required for team sessions, industry events, or visits with development partners.
