Lead Developer React

One Logic Consulting is looking for a Lead React Developer to support a banking client in Lisbon, within a Software Development Factory. You will actively participate in application development and support the team on a daily basis to deliver reliable and maintainable features.

Your Mission Develop front-end features, coordinate their implementation, and improve code quality. You will be a close point of contact for the developers, working in collaboration with Product Owners, back-end teams, QA, and architecture leads.

• React Development: Design and develop complex interfaces and features in React and TypeScript, create reusable components, and integrate APIs.
• Development Coordination: Break down requirements into tasks, contribute to estimations, organize work with the team, and resolve daily technical blockers.
• Code Quality: Participate in code reviews, standardize practices, and ensure the readability, maintainability, and test coverage of the codebase.
• Reliability and Performance: Diagnose and fix bugs, optimize interface performance, and integrate security and accessibility requirements.
• Team Support: Practice pair programming, share knowledge, and support developers in their upskilling.
• Delivery and Collaboration: Track feature progress, prepare their integration with QA and back-end teams, and contribute to their deployment to production within the defined technical framework.

Required Skills

• React and Front-end: Strong command of React, hooks, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS; experience with state management and responsive interfaces.
• Application Design: Component structuring, separation of concerns, REST API integration, and handling errors and asynchronous data fetching.
• Testing and Quality: Experience with front-end unit and integration testing using tools like Jest, Vitest, or React Testing Library; proficiency in code reviews.
• Development Tools: Mastery of Git and branching/merge request workflows; experience with CI/CD pipelines, particularly GitLab CI.
• Agile Methodology: Experience with Scrum or Kanban and tracking tools like Jira or Azure DevOps; ability to estimate and track development tasks.
• Soft Skills: Team spirit, coaching ability, pragmatism, autonomy, and problem-solving skills while staying focused on deliverables.

The mission is a hybride one, with 2,5 days of remote.

Your Experience You have proven experience in React development and have previously guided a team as a Lead Developer or key senior developer. You wish to retain a significant hands-on development role in your daily work and are accustomed to delivering applications in an Agile environment.
