Humana is a $100+ billion, Fortune 50 healthcare leader dedicated to improving the health and well-being of some of the most vulnerable populations in the United States, including seniors, people with disabilities, and lower-income Americans. Humana is uniquely positioned to transform healthcare delivery by making high-quality care more affordable, accessible, and secure through integrated healthcare services, innovative technology, and data-driven solutions.

To help deliver on this mission, we are seeking a Project Manager to support the continued expansion of Humana's enterprise Next Best Action (NBA) decisioning capability. As NBA expands across new use cases, channels, data sources, and platform capabilities, this role will provide project management support across multiple business and technology workstreams. Working closely with Product Managers, Scrum Masters, technology teams, and business stakeholders, the Project Manager will help maintain visibility into delivery timelines, dependencies, risks, and implementation progress.

This role is responsible for coordinating activities across teams, maintaining project plans and status reporting, supporting launch readiness efforts, and helping ensure work remains aligned to planned delivery objectives. This role is ideal for candidates with experience supporting complex technology initiatives, coordinating multiple stakeholders, and helping teams successfully deliver enterprise capabilities.

Role Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain integrated project plans supporting NBA expansion initiatives.
  • Track key milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks, issues, and target launch dates across NBA workstreams.
  • Coordinate project activities across Product Management, Engineering, Architecture, Data, Testing, and business teams.
  • Maintain visibility into implementation progress and communicate project status to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Consolidate delivery information from multiple teams into a cohesive view of overall project health and readiness.
  • Identify and track cross-team dependencies and communicate potential impacts to delivery schedules.
  • Escalate project risks, issues, and unresolved dependencies to the appropriate Product Managers or leadership stakeholders.
  • Maintain project management artifacts, including project plans, risk logs, dependency tracking, issue logs, decision records, and action-item tracking.
  • Facilitate project meetings and follow-up activities to support cross-functional coordination and execution.
  • Support launch readiness activities by helping teams identify and address outstanding dependencies, risks, and implementation needs.
  • Prepare recurring status updates that communicate progress, upcoming milestones, key risks, and areas requiring attention.
  • Partner with Product Managers and Scrum Masters to understand implementation plans and delivery commitments.
  • Support governance and leadership forums through preparation of status materials, documentation, and follow-up actions.
  • Assist with planning for future NBA expansion efforts as new use cases, channels, and capabilities are introduced.
  • Help improve project tracking and coordination practices as the NBA platform continues to grow.
