Lead QA

This is a remote position.

We are looking for an experienced Lead QA Engineer to lead quality assurance initiatives across enterprise SaaS applications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving end-to-end QA activities, combining manual and automation testing with AI-driven testing practices to ensure high-quality, scalable software releases. This leadership role requires close collaboration with Product, Engineering, and DevOps teams to establish quality standards, improve testing processes, and deliver reliable products in a fast-paced Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end Quality Assurance activities across the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
  
• Design, develop, and execute manual, automation, regression, integration, API, and end-to-end test cases.
  
• Build, enhance, and maintain automation frameworks using Python-based testing tools.
  
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and DevOps teams to improve software quality and release reliability.
  
• Leverage AI-powered testing tools to improve automation efficiency, test coverage, and productivity.
  
• Develop comprehensive test strategies, test plans, quality metrics, and testing documentation.
  
• Perform SQL database validation and Elasticsearch data verification.
  
• Lead defect triage sessions, perform root cause analysis, and participate in release quality reviews.
  
• Monitor test execution, identify quality risks, and recommend mitigation strategies.
  
• Present QA case studies, drive process improvements, and promote QA best practices across teams.
  
• Mentor QA engineers and foster a culture of continuous quality improvement.
  

Key Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  
• 10+ years of experience in Quality Assurance within SaaS or Product-based environments.
  
• Strong expertise in both Manual Testing and Automation Testing.
  
• Hands-on experience with AI-powered testing tools such as Testim, Mabl, Functionize, ACCELQ, TestRigor, Applitools, Tosca AI, GitHub Copilot, or similar platforms.
  
• Proficiency in Selenium, PyTest, Postman, SQL, and Elasticsearch.
  
• Good understanding of Python and Vue.js from a QA and testing perspective.
  
• Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  
• Knowledge of API testing, database testing, regression testing, and performance testing concepts.
  
• ISTQB, CSTE, or equivalent QA certification is preferred.
  
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
  
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, leadership, and mentoring skills.
  
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and leading QA teams.
