QA Lead (Fluent in Chinese)

We have been providing outsourced and outstaffed QA and Art services to companies worldwide. From casual games to complex AAA projects, our QA team helps game developers and publishers deliver high-quality products across different platforms and genres.

We are looking for a QA Lead (Fluent in Chinese) with 2–3+ years of experience in QA and 1+ year in a QA Lead or similar leadership role. If you have strong hands-on experience with mobile games, especially live service projects, and are confident communicating in both Chinese and English, we’d be happy to meet you! 🚀

Responsibilities:

• Lead the QA team in maintaining quality standards across all development and release phases.
• Collaborate closely with embedded QA professionals to align testing strategies, processes, and priorities.
• Coordinate additional QA resources when project scope grows beyond internal capacity.
• Represent QA in team meetings and communication channels, including communication with Chinese-speaking stakeholders.
• Act as the primary quality contact for your vertical, especially during the absence of embedded QA.
• Participate in functional testing and bug reporting when needed.
• Develop and maintain structured test suites based on game design documents.
• Monitor, track, and escalate post-release issues.
• Facilitate and participate in cross-feature playtests.
• Promote transparent communication, ownership, and accountability within the QA team while ensuring effective collaboration with product and other project stakeholders.

Requirements:

• 2–3+ years of experience in QA, preferably in game development.
• 1+ year of experience as a QA Lead or in a similar leadership role.
• Fluent in Chinese and Upper-Intermediate proficiency level in English (both written and spoken).
• Strong hands-on experience with mobile game testing, especially in live service environments.
• Proven experience leading QA teams and coordinating QA resources across projects.
• Comfortable collaborating with product and embedded QA teams to align on quality strategy.
• Solid understanding of Agile QA processes, defect reporting, and test suite creation.
• Familiarity with performance monitoring tools for mobile applications.
• Strong communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work effectively with both Chinese-speaking and international stakeholders.
• A passion for games and a keen eye for detail.
