Lead Software Developer / Java / Angular / Test Automation / Bern / 100%

Project:

As Lead Developer, you will actively contribute to the development of our end-to-end test automation solution, take responsibility for technical decisions, and support the team with your experience and expertise. You will combine solid software development skills with a strong understanding of software architecture, test automation, and modern development processes. Start ASAP, no later than October 15, 2026, 100% workload until the end of the year, with the option to extend.

Tasks:

• Development and further development of high-quality software solutions using Java and Angular
• Design and optimization of end-to-end test automation solutions
• Technical leadership in architecture, technology, and implementation decisions
• Development and support of critical software components with a focus on performance, scalability and availability.
• Mentoring and professional support for developers, as well as the promotion of best practices.
• Further development of test frameworks, CI/CD pipelines and modern development and automation processes

Requirements:

• At least 10 years of experience in agile software development with Java and Angular
• Several years of experience as Lead Developer, Technical Lead or in a comparable role
• Solid experience with test automation frameworks such as Selenium or Appium
• Excellent knowledge of software architecture, Kubernetes, Docker, GitLab and CI/CD
• Experience with test automation of web UIs, mobile apps and APIs, as well as with complex, distributed systems.
• Completed education in computer science (HF/FH/Uni/ETH),
• very good German skills and good English skills
