For a century, our work has been part of the value chains that have shaped modern society. At Boliden, we know that the metals we mine and make available will continue to play a crucial role in the future – what matters is how we produce them. Your opportunity

Continuous learning helps people grow, strengthens our business, and prepares us for the future. We are now looking for a Learning & Development Specialist to join our Group HR Learning team on a fixed-term contract until 30 April 2027.

Your work will have a clear impact. By making learning easier to access and manage, you will help employees build relevant skills and enable teams across Boliden to meet changing business needs.

The position offers a balance between independent responsibility and close collaboration. You will receive support from experienced colleagues while having the opportunity to contribute your ideas and develop your expertise in learning and development, digital learning, and international HR collaboration.

Who you will work with

You will join a collaborative Group HR Learning team of six colleagues based in Finland and Sweden. Team members have independent areas of responsibility while working together regularly and sharing knowledge and support.

You will collaborate with managers, HR Business Partners, learning and development specialists, employees, and subject matter experts across Boliden. You will also work closely with the Learning & Development Manager, supporting the coordination and follow-up of shared priorities and development activities.

The position can be based at one of Boliden’s sites in Sweden, preferably in Boliden. Hybrid working is possible, and occasional travel to other Boliden locations may be required.

What you will do

Your responsibilities will cover learning coordination, digital learning support, administration, and the continued development of our learning practices.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Planning, organizing, and scheduling learning activities for employees at Boliden Area
  • Coordinating training content and maintaining accurate participation records
  • Supporting the use and development of digital learning tools, particularly Workday Learning
  • Helping maintain and develop Boliden’s global learning library

  • Improving learning and development processes, guidelines, and documentation
  • Supporting consistent learning practices across Boliden’s different locations
  • Assisting the Learning & Development Manager with coordination, follow-up, and development activities

You will have opportunities to broaden your professional network, learn about different parts of Boliden, and develop your capabilities in learning technology, training coordination, and organizational learning.

What you bring

You enjoy helping others learn and bringing structure to activities involving multiple people and priorities. You communicate clearly, build positive working relationships, and feel comfortable combining independent work with collaboration.

Qualifications are:

  • Education: A relevant academic background in human resources, education, organizational psychology, business, or another applicable field
  • Experience: Relevant experience in learning and development, human resources, training coordination, digital learning, or a related area
  • Digital skills: Confidence using digital tools and an interest in developing accessible and effective learning experiences

  • Collaboration: Good communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and locations
  • Languages: Professional proficiency in both English and Swedish

It is an advantage if you have:

  • Experience with Workday Learning, Workday, or ServiceNow
  • Experience creating or developing e-learning content
  • Knowledge of HR or learning processes in an international organization
