Legal Counsel (Freelance/Part Time)

Job Title: Legal Counsel (Freelance/Part-time) Industry: Renewables / Energy Location: Remote (Common Law Jurisdiction Preferred) Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Legal Counsel on a freelance/part-time basis to support our legal needs within the renewables and energy sector. The ideal candidate will provide pragmatic, commercially sound legal advice while ensuring compliance with relevant common law jurisdictions. Key Responsibilities: Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial contracts, including NDAs, supply agreements, and service contracts Advise on regulatory matters, project structuring, and risk mitigation strategies Provide legal support on cross-border transactions and partnerships Liaise with external counsel where necessary Ensure compliance with relevant laws and industry regulations in common law jurisdictions Requirements: Qualified lawyer with a minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience Strong background in commercial law, preferably in the renewables or energy sector Familiarity with common law systems (e.g., UK, Singapore, Australia, etc.) Excellent communication and drafting skills Ability to work independently and manage flexible working hours remotely
