Legal Specialist

We are looking for a proactive and experienced Legal Specialist to join the Group Legal Team. This position is designed to support Team in managing legal tasks for Galaxy Holdings and multiple subsidiaries. The ideal candidate should possess a solid background in IT services/SaaS/PaaS/AI/data-driven services and the ability to handle a diverse workload across various business units.

Responsibilities:

• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide variety of commercial agreements, including NDAs, IT service agreements, partnership agreements, and software licences, SaaS/PaaS subscriptions, cloud services, AI solution agreements.
• Provide legal advice on corporate, compliance, commercial, and technology-related matters, ensuring alignment with business strategies.
• Stay updated on relevant legal and regulatory changes, particularly in areas like data privacy, eKYC, cybersecurity, AI, IP and consumer protection.
• Assist with licensing and regulatory filings and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Collaborate with compliance, risk management, and business teams to identify and mitigate potential legal risks.
• Maintain organized legal documentation and files on SharePoint according to the company’s document management system.
• Contribute to the development and updating of legal templates, guidelines, and internal policies.
• Handle other ad hoc legal tasks as assigned by the Line Manager.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in law from a recognized university; Lawyer Training Certificate is a plus.
• At least 5 years of legal experience, including hands-on drafting, review and negotiation of IT service, software or other technology contracts. Experience in IT services, SaaS/PaaS, cloud, AI, data-driven services or fintech is preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of Vietnamese laws relating to technology, fintech, ecommerce, data privacy, and commercial contracts.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving ability.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, multi-tasking environment and provide effective legal solutions across multiple business units.
• Fluency in both Vietnamese and English.
• Positive attitude, responsibility, and ability to work independently or in teams.
