Middle Java Developer

Role Description This is a full-time Middle Java Developer role in a hybrid work model based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, with some flexibility to work from home. The Middle Java Developer will design, develop, and maintain backend services and applications using Java and the Spring Framework. The role involves implementing and optimizing microservices, writing clean and testable code, and participating in code reviews to ensure best practices and high-quality deliverables. The developer will collaborate closely with product managers, QA engineers, and other developers to translate technical requirements into robust solutions, troubleshoot production issues, and contribute to continuous improvement of the development lifecycle. The role also includes documenting technical designs, monitoring application performance, and supporting deployment and integration activities.
Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Software Development and Programming, with the ability to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
• Proficiency in Java and experience building server-side applications and APIs.
• Hands-on experience with the Spring Framework (e.g., Spring Boot, Spring Data, Spring Security) for enterprise application development.
• Practical knowledge of Microservices architecture, including designing, implementing, and integrating distributed services.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL), and ORM tools.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of software testing practices, including unit and integration testing.
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment, communicate effectively within cross-functional teams, and manage time and priorities independently.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud platforms is a plus.
