Your career path could surprise even you, there's so much variety.

You've been looking for an opportunity to influence policies, initiatives, and projects that can improve the lives of millions of people.

In this role, you'll:

Manage a portfolio of public liability claims from end to end, including personal injury, general liability matters and third-party property damage. This will involve managing claims through to resolution, responding to enquiries and working closely with internal and external stakeholders to support timely, fair and well-informed outcomes.

The role will see you collaborate across Transport for NSW, as well as with insurers, legal practitioners and service providers, while maintaining accurate records and ensuring claims are managed in line with relevant legislation, policies and procedures.

There will also be opportunities to contribute to process improvements, strengthen customer outcomes and support the ongoing development of claims and recoveries practices within the team.

Enjoy a hybrid way of working, with Tuesdays based in Burwood and Thursdays at 231 Elizabeth Street, Sydney, providing regular opportunities to connect and collaborate with the team.

About you

You’re an experienced claims professional with a strong background in claims management, ideally within public liability or general insurance, and are confident managing claims through the end-to-end lifecycle. You bring an understanding of relevant legislation and regulations and can interpret requirements and communicate them clearly to a range of stakeholders.

Strong attention to detail, sound judgement and a genuine customer focus will be key to your success. You’re comfortable balancing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment, working collaboratively with others and building effective stakeholder relationships. An inquisitive mindset, solid analytical and problem-solving skills, and a willingness to adapt and learn new processes will help you thrive in the role.
