Position Overview:

We are seeking passionate and licensed mental health therapists and counselors in NJ or NY to join our growing team of healthcare innovators. In this role, you’ll provide compassionate, 1:1 care to patients navigating the complexities of chronic pain while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team that includes physicians, physical therapists, and wellness coaches.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct virtual counseling sessions with patients experiencing chronic pain.

• Provide support and guidance to help patients navigate emotional challenges associated with chronic pain.

• Assist patients in implementing lifestyle modifications and self-care strategies.

• Collaborate with other healthcare providers to develop comprehensive treatment plans.

Requirements:

• Valid LPC, LMHC, LMFT, LCSW license in New York

• At least 1 year of experience in counseling individuals with chronic pain or related conditions preferred.

• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and technology.

• Strong communication, empathy, and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Credentialing with EmblemHealth, Medicaid, Medicare, BCBS, UnitedHealthcare, Aetna, or other payers is a plus but not required.

• Experience working with chronic pain patients is a plus but training will be provided if needed.
