Job Description
Our client is a high-end UAE-based interior design, fit-out and consultancy company, delivering bespoke luxury spaces across MENA region. The company combines architecture, interiors, lighting, furniture and art to create distinctive, fully integrated environments. On their behalf, we are looking for the position of Lighting Calculation Specialist / DIALux Operator - Remote (preferably Serbia and/or South East Europe). This is a technical lighting position requiring excellent knowledge of DIALux Evo, photometry, lighting standards and architectural drawings. Responsibilities: ✔ Prepare accurate lighting calculations using DIALux Evo for residential, hospitality, commercial, landscape and public-space projects ✔ Build project models from AutoCAD/PDF drawings and correctly apply IES/LDT photometric files ✔ Position and orient luminaires according to lighting layouts and select appropriate calculation surfaces and grids ✔ Calculate illuminance, lighting uniformity, luminance and glare/UGR where applicable ✔ Produce false-colour and isolux diagrams and professional calculation reports ✔ Compare luminaires, optics, wattages and mounting positions to optimize lighting performance and fixture quantities ✔ Support Senior Lighting Designers with technical calculations throughout the design process ✔ Coordinate calculation results with AutoCAD lighting layouts and identify potential performance issues ✔ Maintain organized calculation files and project documentation

Qualifications: → 3-5 years of professional experience in lighting calculations, preferably on architectural projects → Experience with residential, hospitality, commercial, retail, landscape, façade and exterior lighting projects → Experience with international lighting consultants, manufacturers or UAE/GCC projects is a strong advantage → Advanced/expert proficiency in DIALux Evo → Strong knowledge of AutoCAD, IES/LDT photometric files, PDF/CAD drawings, Microsoft Excel and professional calculation report preparation → Knowledge of Relux, Revit/BIM, AGi32 or other lighting calculation/design software is an advantage → Strong technical understanding of illuminance/lux, luminance, uniformity, UGR/glare, beam angles, photometric data, CCT/CRI, mounting heights, aiming, reflectance and maintenance factors → Good understanding of working planes, calculation surfaces, emergency lighting principles and relevant international lighting standards Calculation Samples Are Essential.
