Job Description
Our client is a high-end UAE-based interior design, fit-out and consultancy company, delivering bespoke luxury spaces across MENA region. The company combines architecture, interiors, lighting, furniture and art to create distinctive, fully integrated environments. On their behalf, we are looking for the position of Senior Architectural Lighting Designer - Remote (preferably Serbia and/or South East Europe). We are looking for a highly creative and technically experienced lighting designer who understands how light can transform architecture, interiors, landscape and hospitality environments. Responsibilities: ✔ Develop architectural lighting concepts, design narratives and lighting strategies for luxury residential, hospitality and leisure projects ✔ Prepare lighting layouts, reflected ceiling plans, concept presentations and lighting details ✔ Select luminaires, optics, beam angles and define key technical requirements such as CCT, CRI and light output ✔ Coordinate lighting with architecture, interiors, landscape and MEP systems ✔ Review lux calculations, photometric studies, technical submittals and proposed lighting alternatives ✔ Prepare luminaire specifications, fixture schedules and lighting BOQs ✔ Coordinate lighting controls, dimming and scene-setting requirements ✔ Provide guidance to junior lighting designers and calculation teams ✔ Maintain design intent and quality throughout all project stages, from concept through detailed design and delivery
OFFER
Qualifications: → 8-10 years of professional experience in architectural lighting design, preferably on luxury residential, hospitality and high-end interior projects → Strong portfolio demonstrating completed or developed projects across luxury residential, hotels and resorts, restaurants, landscape, façades and high-end interiors → Experience with Middle East/GCC or international projects is a strong advantage → Strong proficiency in DIALux Evo and/or Relux, AutoCAD and Adobe Photoshop/InDesign or similar presentation tools → Knowledge of Revit, BIM, SketchUp, 3ds Max or other visualization tools is an advantage → Strong technical knowledge of photometry, IES/LDT files, lux levels, uniformity, glare, beam distributions, CCT, CRI, lighting controls and dimming → Good understanding of architectural lighting details and relevant international lighting standards Portfolio is an essential part of the selection process. It should clearly demonstrate your personal contribution to projects.
