Building markets for the new trading frontier.

Bringing the future into focus.

Rothera is building the premier prediction market in partnership with Robinhood and Susquehanna International Group.

By empowering traders to take positions on the events that shape our world Rothera’s platform harnesses the scale and power of financial markets to produce timely, unique, and effective information discovery for leaders and decision makers to ask and answer their most important questions.

Rothera operates at the frontier, generating market-driven forecasts that turn intuition into insight.

About the role

As Listings Associate, you will support the Listings and Product team in the end-to-end lifecycle of every contract listed on Rothera's exchange.

You will be the analytical and technical engine behind the listings team. You will pull, analyze, and generate the data that powers listing decisions, draft contract metadata and listing packages, and research markets and competitors to help the team decide what to list next. Alongside the Senior Product Specialists, you will work with the Rothera Instrument Management System (RIMS), the platform that holds all reference data for traded contracts, and learn how listings move through compliance, legal, and operations review.

This role is designed for an analytically minded early-career professional who is technically skilled, is curious about financial markets and regulation, and wants to grow into owning the full listing lifecycle at a regulated derivatives exchange.

What you'll do

Data Analysis and Data Generation

  • Write Python and SQL to pull, clean, and analyze exchange data, including trading volume, liquidity, and participation, to measure how listed contracts perform.
  • Build and maintain scripts, dashboards, and reports that give the listings team a clear, current view of the pipeline and of market performance.
  • Use code and AI tools to generate and quality-check contract metadata, series, and events at scale, and help automate repetitive parts of the listing workflow.

Listings Support and Research

  • Support Senior Product Specialists in preparing listing packages, from initial concept through CFTC self-certification, legal review, and contract terms finalization.
  • Research upcoming events across politics, economics, finance, sports and other domains, and help maintain the listings calendar so no high-value opportunity is missed.
  • Work with engineering, operations, legal, and compliance to keep each listing on track from request to go-live.

What you'll bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline
  • 0-2 years of experience in analytics, data science, product, or a related role.
  • Strong proficiency in Python and SQL, including data analysis libraries and data visualization libraries or tools.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to turn raw data into clear, decision-ready insight.
  • Experience using AI to increase efficiency, or a strong desire to learn how to apply it across analysis, drafting, and research.
  • Interest in financial markets, derivatives, or prediction markets. Prior exposure to exchanges, event contracts, or CFTC-regulated products is a plus.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and structured thinking, particularly when it comes to data quality, edge case analysis, and documentation.

Benefits and Compensation

This position has a base salary of $70,000-$90,000 per year.

Rothera is dedicated to advancing the careers and personal wellbeing of our team members.
