THE ROLE & THE TEAM

Our Litigation & Dispute Resolution team have an exciting opportunity for a Litigation Lawyer to join our team. Working with government and private clients, you will manage a varied range of litigation and dispute resolution matters, with a particular focus on debt recovery and insolvency.

You will handle matters from initial instructions through to resolution, advising clients on recovery prospects, enforcement options, risks and costs. The role includes preparing court documents, participating in negotiations and mediations, appearing in courts and tribunals as appropriate to your experience, and assisting with creditor claims, bankruptcy and winding-up proceedings.

WHAT YOU BRING

As the ideal candidate, you’ll bring:

• At least 2 years’ post-admission experience in litigation and dispute resolution
• Experience in debt recovery and insolvency matters, including related litigation and enforcement
• Advocacy skills and experience appearing in courts or tribunals appropriate to your level of experience
• Proficient legal research, drafting and analytical skills, with attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with clients, colleagues and stakeholders
• The ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines, and to work both independently and collaboratively
• A positive attitude, strong work ethic and genuine desire to build a long-term career within a supportive and high-performing team.
