Director of Sales & Revenue


LivTours is a fast-growing business providing exceptional travel experiences across 25+ cities in Europe. We are looking for an experienced Director of Revenue to lead commercial strategy and performance across our regions, products and sales channels.


Reporting to the COO and working closely with the company owners, you will lead our commercial teams (Sales & Agent, OTA, Marketing, European Development and Client Experience), accountable for driving sustainable revenue growth and profitability, setting commercial priorities, and ensuring our teams work together towards clear company objectives.


This is a broad commercial leadership role requiring strong strategic and analytical capability alongside excellent people leadership. You will combine data, market insight and commercial judgement to identify opportunities, make sound decisions and translate strategy into measurable results.


Key Responsibilities
  • Own revenue growth, margin and commercial performance across regions, products and sales channels, setting targets and driving sales performance and pipeline to achieve company objecti
  • Lead pricing, discounting, commission and distribution strategy, optimising channel mix to balance revenue growth, conversion, competitiveness and sustainable profitability.
  • Lead product, portfolio and regional growth strategy, identifying and developing opportunities for expansion into new products and markets and ensuring investment decisions align with commercial performance and company growth objectives.
  • Lead and develop the Revenue management team, setting clear objectives, driving accountability and coaching managers to build strong, high-performing teams.
  • Own commercial forecasting, market intelligence and performance analysis, using internal and external data to identify trends, risks and opportunities and guide strategic adjustments.
  • Own revenue, gross margin and the commercial budgets for sales, marketing and distribution, working with Finance and Operations to direct investment towards the strongest opportunities for sustainable return.
  • Own the commercial proposition across regions and channels, working with Operations and the "Guide Community Lead" to ensure services are consistently delivered, and using customer feedback and performance data to drive continuous improvement.
  • Identify and develop new revenue channels and partnerships, evaluating emerging distribution, sales and market opportunities and leading their launch and integration into the overall commercial strategy.
  • Drive improvements to the systems, data and automation behind pricing, sales and commercial reporting, working closely with Finance and IT.
  • Make sure our commercial practices meet consumer protection, data protection and other regulatory requirements
What We're Looking For

Required:

  • Proven ability to lead and develop experienced managers and geographically dispersed teams, creating clarity, accountability and strong performance.
  • Track record of owning revenue and profitability targets and commercial budgets.
  • Strong experience in pricing, commission and discount strategy, and optimising sales through direct and third-party channels.
  • Experience leading sales performance, including target-setting, pipeline management and accountability for results.
  • Highly analytical and financially literate, with the ability to turn complex data and market information into clear commercial decisions and action.
  • Strong strategic judgement combined with the ability to prioritise and drive execution in a fast-growing, evolving organisation.
  • Excellent cross-functional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to align commercial, operational, product and customer experience priorities.
  • Comfortable with technology, data and automation, including working with technical teams to translate operational needs into effective solutions.
  • Working knowledge of consumer protection, data protection and GDPR requirements relevant to selling to consumers across multiple markets.

Advantageous:

  • Experience in travel or tourism, particularly within complex multi-product or multi-channel environments.
  • Experience developing products, portfolios or commercial propositions across new markets or regions.
  • Curiosity and practical experience with AI and emerging technologies.
Position Details

Type: Full time, Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm, with flexibility as required for successful execution of role.

Location: Ireland, fully remote, with opportunity to work from our Dublin office.
