Business Overview
Rakuten Mobile launched its full-scale service in April 2020 as the fourth MNO (Mobile Network Operator) in Japan, the first to be approved in 13 years, with the goal of providing high-quality mobile communication services at fair prices. We aim to surpass 10 million subscriptions within 2025.
We began offering full-scale services to corporate clients in January 2023. As a core business driving the future growth of the Rakuten Group, we are making large-scale investments that are attracting significant attention both domestically and internationally.

Department Overview
This department is responsible for providing mobile services to corporate clients. Your role will involve constructing new service operation flows, improving existing operations, and managing the vendors who execute these operations. We invite you to join us as a core member of our business expansion, contributing to our goal of becoming the No. 1 carrier.
The Corporate Business Operation Department is responsible for ensuring that Rakuten Mobile (Corporate) products and services are reliably delivered to end-users.
While keeping costs in mind, you will execute logistics operations by understanding legal regulations, processes, and service levels.
Logistics operations offer the opportunity to gain a wide range of business-related knowledge, including procurement, inventory management, transportation flows, systems, and legal affairs.

Position:

Position Details
The Corporate Business Operation Department has three main objectives.

- Operation Improvement and Productivity Enhancement: Automation/systematization of manual tasks, process improvement, and quantitative analysis.

- Inventory Management and Processing Adjustments: Handling processing requests based on customer needs, inventory audits, closing, stock transfers, and receiving processes.

- Inventory Forecast: Creating forecasts and adjusting inventory based on sales project information and statistical data.
In principle, we work in the office to facilitate face-to-face communication, but remote work is available up to once a week. We also offer a flextime system, allowing you to work in a way that fits your lifestyle.

Work Environment
The team consists of six members: three in their 20s, two in their 40s, and one in their 50s.
It is a highly communicative group where members leverage their respective expertise and knowledge areas to collaborate on multiple projects.
While many employees are assigned here as new graduates, we also have members who joined mid-career, resulting in a team with diverse backgrounds.

Mandatory Qualifications:

- Experience in logistics-related operations.

- Experience in tasks involving numerical targets, such as data analysis and KPIs.

- Professional experience using Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Excel: Aggregation and analysis

PowerPoint: Experience creating meeting materials, proposals, etc.

- English Proficiency: TOEIC score of 600 or higher (or equivalent qualification).

Desired Qualifications:

1.Communication Skills
Strong communication skills are essential to coordinate with various internal departments, multiple vendors, and warehouses to advance operations. Experience in progress management and coordination is particularly valuable.
Preferred skills: Experience coordinating with multiple stakeholders, experience using project management tools.

2.System Understanding and Improvement Skills
As many tasks are system-related and involve managing large volumes of contract and shipping data, knowledge of system usage and operational improvement is required. Skills in systemic problem-solving are also important as the role includes business process improvement.
Preferred skills: Experience in system development or operation, experience in system improvement projects.

3.Data Analysis and Management Skills
Skills in data analysis and report creation are required. Specifically, the ability to analyze the progress of outsourced partners or the team and propose improvements is essential.
Preferred skills: Data analysis using Excel, experience in sales or billing management.

4.Experience in Business Process Improvement
Since system and operational improvements are required, experience in proposing and executing improvements that incorporate feedback from the field is a strength. We are looking for talent who can contribute to business efficiency and quality enhancement.

5.Working Conditions
Must reside in Japan.
Preferred skills: Experience in creating business flows, project experience.
