Are you ready to take ownership of one of the most critical areas within our Supply Chain network? As Logistics Operations Lead Benelux-ITR, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of our products from warehouse to customer.

This is a highly visible role where you will work across functions, collaborate with senior stakeholders, and influence key business decisions. You will be responsible for driving operational excellence, strengthening partnerships with our logistics providers, and leading initiatives that improve service, cost, quality, and sustainability across the region.

What will be your key responsibilities?

Lead Logistics Performance & Governance

• Own the end-to-end performance management of our Logistics Service Providers across the Benelux-ITR cluster.
• Drive service excellence by monitoring KPIs, identifying trends, and ensuring robust follow-up on improvement actions.
• Facilitate and lead operational, monthly, and quarterly business reviews with our logistics partners.

Drive Continuous Improvement

• Identify opportunities to improve service, efficiency, cost, and quality throughout the logistics operation.
• Lead cross-functional projects and continuous improvement initiatives that deliver measurable business value.
• Challenge existing ways of working and bring innovative solutions to complex operational challenges.

Shape Strategic Partnerships

• Build strong relationships with key logistics partners and act as a trusted partner in driving long-term performance.
• Ensure alignment between business priorities and logistics execution, creating win-win solutions for Mars and our partners.

Enable Business Growth

• Consolidate supply chain forecasts across segments and translate demand insights into effective logistics planning.
• Anticipate capacity constraints and proactively implement mitigation plans to support business continuity.
• Ensure our logistics network remains agile and ready to support future growth.

Be a Key Supply Chain Leader

• Represent Logistics in regional and cross-functional projects, collaborating closely with Product Availability, Customer Service, Quality, Commercial, and Finance teams.
• Act as Quality Management Process Owner for Physical Logistics, ensuring compliance with quality and regulatory standards.
• Lead the coordination of year-end supply chain activities across the Benelux-ITR region.
  

What are we looking for?

• Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operational Excellence, Transport & Distribution, or a related field.
• Proven experience within FMCG Supply Chain.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain and logistics processes.
• Ability to influence and manage stakeholders across multiple functions and organizational levels.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to transform insights into action.
• Comfortable working independently while also building strong collaborative relationships.
• Experience leading projects and continuous improvement initiatives is a strong advantage.
• Fluent in English. Dutch is considered a plus.
