Logistics Product Owner

We’re currently looking for an experienced Logistics Product Owner to support our global end client.

Start: ASAP

Duration: 12 month initial contract

Location: Hybrid – mostly remote with on-site in Prague for key stages

Languages: English speaking

Type: Contract/Freelance

Role/Responsibilities:

• At least five years' relevant experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, Requirements Engineer or similar enterprise application specialist.
• Own the functional solution, translating approved business requirements into clear specifications for developers and testers.
• Lead discovery and solution workshops with business stakeholders, Business Analysts, UX teams and architects.
• Confident SAP purchasing and logistics process knowledge.
• Define scope, business rules, screens, data requirements and notifications.
• Write user stories and testable acceptance criteria, managing traceability and the Jira backlog.
• Ensure requirements are complete and ready for development.
• Proven experience in functional specification, requirements engineering, Jira, agile delivery and UAT.
• Resolve functional queries and delivery blockers promptly throughout the development lifecycle.
• Accept delivered stories, support UAT sign-off with the Business Owner and confirm functional release readiness.
• Maintain specifications and decision logs, supporting rollout Fit-Gap assessments, knowledge transfer and continuous improvement.
• Understanding of user journeys, UX and enterprise/supplier portals.
