About the role

As Maintenance Manager, you will lead maintenance strategy and execution across our workover and well servicing rig fleet, ancillary equipment, heavy vehicles and support equipment. Reporting to the Operations Manager – Australia, you will set up the maintenance systems, lead a field team of mechanics, electricians and welders once established, and make sure every rig is ready to work safely when our clients need it. This is a hybrid role, split between our Toowoomba site and our field operations in the Surat Basin, so you will spend regular time on site with your team and the rigs. It is a hands-on leadership role with real influence over how the Australian operation is built.

Start Date: Late November / Early December 2026.

  • Manage the maintenance budget, spare parts and suppliers
  • Support a strong safety culture, including incident investigations
  • Report on maintenance performance, costs and priorities to the Operations Manager – Australia
  • Work a hybrid model, splitting your time between the Toowoomba office and rig sites in the Surat Basin

About you

  • Trade qualification as a Heavy Diesel Fitter, Mechanical or Electrical tradesperson
  • 10+ years in workover or well servicing rig maintenance, including 3+ years in a maintenance leadership role
