Across the data center industry – from deployment, through operations and maintenance, to decommissioning – Salute is the industry leader of delivering global data center services executed with precision. We are seeking a proactive Maintenance Planner to support the delivery of best-in-class service across our global portfolio of 180+ data centre and critical environment contracts. Our Operational Services team provides full lifecycle support for critical assets - from planned and preventative maintenance to 24/7 emergency response, helpdesk and remote monitoring. In this role, you will coordinate Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), reactive tasks and small works, ensuring all activities are delivered efficiently, compliantly, and in line with customer expectations. You will work closely with Technical and Operational teams to schedule resources, manage work orders through the CMMS (Computerised Maintenance Management System), produce documentation, liaise with suppliers and subcontractors, and maintain strong client relationships. We’re looking for someone highly organised, customer-focused and confident in managing multiple tasks - from raising purchase orders to producing service reports and supporting KPI tracking. You’ll play a key part in improving processes, enhancing service delivery, and ensuring contractual and safety compliance. If you’re driven by precision, collaboration and continuous improvement, and want to help shape high-performance service delivery in critical environments, we’d love to hear from you. What we’re looking for Essential administrative experience, with exposure to Facilities Management or Critical Engineering environments considered highly desirable. Proven ability to plan and organise engineering maintenance activities, ideally within a critical or technical setting. Experience using CMMS, CAFM or similar maintenance planning systems is desirable. Confident in liaising with third-party suppliers and subcontractors to support service delivery. Strong contributor to team and departmental performance, with a keen customer focus. Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills, with a professional and confidential approach. Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with colleagues at all levels. Able to manage a varied workload, balancing competing priorities and responding quickly to urgent issues. Highly organised, methodical, and detail-oriented. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. A proactive approach to learning, with a willingness to undertake further training for ongoing professional development. What We Offer Structured Career Growth – Opportunities to develop your skills and advance within a growing international company. Dynamic Work Environment – Be part of a global team in the fast-paced data centre industry. Impactful Work – Play a key role in delivering innovative solutions for critical infrastructure. Competitive Salary & Benefits – including health cash plan, life assurance, pension and other flexible benefits. The opportunity is located in Gatwick, and will include business travel as needed to meet business demands but will likely be nominal. At Salute, we don’t have employees. We have team members. It’s our culture, and it’s a significant driver of the success we're able to deliver for our clients. This team-oriented culture is defined by transparent communication, collaborative development and deployment of procedures and best practices, a customer service mindset both internally and externally, and a strong commitment to safety and responsibility. In addition to the opportunity to work in a great team and earn a competitive salary - you'll gain access to cutting-edge industry training that aims to enhance your skills and support your future development. Please note that we would ideally like the new joiner to be office-based for the first few months to help them get up to speed with our processes and build strong working relationships. #EMEA
