Location: Birmingham T3
Working Arrangement: Hybrid – 3 days in the office, 2 days working remotely
We are looking to appoint a proactive and commercially minded Management Accountant to join our Engineering Finance team on a fixed term contract basis, supporting our Engineering service line across the UK.
Working closely with the Finance Business Partner, you will play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting, performance analysis and forecasting to support business decision-making.
This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside commercial and operational teams, providing valuable financial insight, strengthening financial controls and identifying opportunities to improve business performance.
Key Duties
You will be an analytical and detail-oriented finance professional with strong commercial awareness and the ability to build effective relationships across the business.
You will bring experience in management accounting, financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, alongside strong Excel skills and the confidence to communicate financial information to a range of stakeholders.
Ideally, you will be ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified, a finalist or actively working towards qualification. Candidates with strong equivalent experience will also be considered.
Experience within construction or project-based accounting would be advantageous, particularly knowledge of IFRS 15 and financial systems such as COINS, although this is not essential.
What We Can Offer You
Tilbury Douglas is a leading UK building, infrastructure, engineering and fit-out company, delivering vital projects across sectors including health, education, highways, justice, defence, aviation, water, and environment.
Our people are at the heart of our success. We are committed to an inclusive culture that encourages innovation and celebrates individual differences. We are proud to hold Investors in Diversity status.
Please note: we do not hold a sponsorship licence. This role is subject to Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance.
We look forward to receiving your application.
