Role Overview
We are seeking an AI Product Owner to help coordinate across Private Wealth Management Asia domains and teams to identify, shape, and deliver AI-enabled products and capabilities. The role will partner closely with Business, Operations, Control functions, Technology, Data, and other delivery teams to convert business opportunities into practical AI use cases, product requirements, implementation plans, and adoption outcomes.

About the job:
  • Own and continuously update the AI product roadmap across Private Wealth Management Asia, ensuring priorities reflect business goals, platform direction, regulatory obligations, operational risk reduction and measurable user adoption.
  • Balance and prioritise requirements from business, control and technology stakeholders, ensuring decisions remain aligned with banking governance, risk standards and available delivery capacity.
  • Ensure the product backlog is ready for execution by defining and sequencing epics, user stories and acceptance criteria for delivery teams.
  • Work closely with stakeholders across Private Wealth Management, Business, Operations, Technology, Data and control functions to identify AI opportunities, clarify requirements, shape solutions and sustain alignment throughout delivery.
  • Build a detailed understanding of Private Wealth Management processes, client-servicing workflows, adviser and operations journeys, controls, data usage and pain points to determine where AI can add value and enhance the user experience.
  • Evaluate the impact of AI solutions across end-to-end workflows, data flows, operating models, reporting, controls, risk considerations and organisational readiness for adoption.
  • Partner with technology teams to review solution approaches, architectural considerations, integration methods, data dependencies and implementation trade-offs.
  • Contribute to the full AI product lifecycle, covering discovery, use-case evaluation, requirements definition, backlog preparation, UAT planning, implementation support, adoption monitoring and post-implementation review.
  • At least five years of experience in project management, product development, product ownership, business analysis or change delivery. Exposure to internal enterprise software, AI-enabled platforms, data-driven capabilities or in-house desktop or mobile applications is preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated Product Owner capabilities, ideally gained through AI, machine learning, data analytics, automation or intelligent workflow solutions. Experience should include roadmap delivery, prioritisation, backlog management, preparation of user stories, definition of acceptance criteria, stakeholder alignment and Agile delivery.
  • Sound knowledge of Private Wealth Management processes, banking and investment products, client-servicing journeys, operational workflows, controls, data usage and adoption considerations.
  • Adequate technology and data knowledge to collaborate effectively with engineering teams on AI solution design, data flows, platform architecture, integration methods, model or workflow dependencies, reporting needs and implementation choices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, including the capacity to evaluate trade-offs involving business value, risk reduction, cost, complexity and delivery timelines.
  • Proven ability to explain complex matters clearly to stakeholders at different management levels and across multiple business functions.
  • Experience within Retail Banking, Private Banking, Wealth Management, capital markets or the wider financial-services sector is highly desirable, together with the ability to translate banking and finance knowledge into practical product requirements and delivery decisions.
  • Knowledge of Agile development, Design Thinking or User-Centred Design would be advantageous. Experience across requirements discovery, stakeholder engagement, delivery planning, UAT coordination, implementation readiness, change management and post-implementation support is also beneficial.

AI Requirement
  • Understands Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Generative AI (GenAI), including their practical applications in business and technology environments, with the ability to leverage AI-enabled tools and technologies to drive innovation, productivity, and business outcomes.
  • Demonstrates the ability to effectively incorporate AI-enabled tools into consulting engagements, project management, business analysis, solution design, technology delivery, and business development activities to enhance delivery quality, efficiency, and client value.
  • Embraces emerging technologies, demonstrates an AI-first mindset, and proactively identifies opportunities to leverage AI and automation to improve ways of working, accelerate innovation, and create measurable business impact for clients and the firm.
