I'm working with a well-established national mid-tier accounting and advisory firm on a Senior Manager appointment in its Brisbane Business Services team. It's a genuine growth role. The team is expanding, and the partners want someone who can lead client relationships, develop people and help shape where the practice goes next.

The role

• Managing a substantial portfolio of private and family group clients as their trusted adviser
• Reviewing financial statements, tax returns and complex structures across all entity types
• Leading, mentoring and developing a team of accountants
• Delivering advisory work including structuring, succession, business improvement and tax planning
• Contributing to business development and building the Brisbane practice alongside the partners
• Offers a defined pathway towards Director and partnership for the right person

What you'll bring

• 8+ years in Australian public practice, including time at Manager level or above
• CA or CPA qualified
• Strong technical knowledge across entity types, with an advisory mindset
• Experience leading teams and managing client relationships independently
• Mid-tier or Big 4 background preferred, though strong boutique candidates will be considered

Salary: $145,000–$175,000 + super, depending on experience
