Show job description

Eaton’s ES AMER PCS division is currently seeking a Manager, Commercial Experience and Marketing Communications. This is a hybrid position (3 days on-site/week) that can take place out of our locations in Ellisville, MO, Beachwood, OH, or Moon Township, PA. We are able to offer relocation assistance for qualified candidates within the United States.

The Commercial Experience & Marketing Communication Manager is the strategic commercial partner for the Bussmann business. It owns the end-to-end commercial experience for external customers, distributor partners and the internal sales organization, and translates business strategy into integrated marketing plans that create demand, accelerate launches and support revenue growth. This position sets direction for digital marketing, marketing communications and the Bussmann Experience Center, and identifies risks, opportunities and resource requirements before they affect customers, sales partners or division priorities.

This role also owns the management system for the Executive & Site Experience Coordinator. The manager sets overall priorities, development objectives and performance expectations, while the Vice President and General Manager defines the service expectations for the coordinator’s dedicated executive-support commitment. The manager ensures that executive support, site experience, communications and employee engagement are delivered as one coordinated operating model rather than as competing informal requests.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $130000 - $190000 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.

Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

What you'll do:

Commercial Marketing Strategy & Demand Generation:

  • Develop and execute the integrated commercial marketing strategy for the Bussmann business, including target audiences, messaging, campaign timing, business objectives, and expected commercial impact.
  • Lead commercial launch programs through PROLaunch, partnering with Product Management to drive adoption and market success.
  • Develop audience segmentation, media, thought leadership, and content strategies across digital platforms, trade media, customer success stories, and distributor communications.
  • Direct digital marketing and marketing communications activities, including website content, campaign automation, social media, collateral, events, and product launches.
  • Measure marketing effectiveness through ROI analysis, pipeline influence, revenue attribution, awareness metrics, and optimization of marketing investments.
  • Support Bussmann’s GPL responsibilities by partnering with regional marketing and commercial teams to align campaigns, product-launch communications, messaging, marketing collateral and sales enablement for global products. Establish shared plans and coordination cadences to ensure consistent positioning and brand execution while allowing adaptation to local market needs.

Customer Experience, Sales Enablement & Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Provide strategic leadership for the Bussmann Experience Center, including audience targeting, engagement planning, experience standards, and demand-generation objectives.
  • Establish governance and cross-functional collaboration with Codes & Standards and Technical Marketing to ensure impactful and technically accurate customer experiences.
  • Integrate Experience Center engagements into sales and marketing campaigns, ensuring every visit supports qualified opportunities and pipeline growth.
  • Design and deliver sales enablement resources, launch communications, message maps, and commercial tools that support consistent customer-facing execution.
  • Build strong partnerships with regional sales leaders and key distributors through structured engagement cadences, proactive issue resolution, and alignment on business priorities.

Team Leadership, Operations & Brand Stewardship:

  • Lead, coach, and develop marketing team members, including the Experience Center Manager and Executive & Site Experience Coordinator, while building organizational capability and succession strength.
  • Establish clear priorities, ownership, and resource plans to ensure continuity of support for customer-facing, leadership, and business-critical activities.
  • Oversee employee, visitor, executive, and customer experiences at the Ellisville site, ensuring a professional and consistent brand image.
  • Manage the marketing communications budget, supplier spending, forecasting, and investment allocation to maximize commercial value.
  • Ensure brand alignment, governance, training, and compliance across all customer-facing and employee-facing communications and experiences.

Qualifications:

Required (Basic) Qualifications:
