THE PURPOSE: As the Manager, CRM & Campaigns, you lead the brand and newness side of True Religion's day-to-day marketing — the new arrivals, launches, storytelling, and retail moments that build the brand and drive engagement, consideration, and downstream demand across email, SMS, and push. You'll plan and brief these campaigns against the marketing calendar, work alongside the Senior Manager who leads overall channel strategy, cadence, and promotional messaging. You'll also be CRM's link to the retail business, making sure store launches, events, and in-store moments show up in how we talk to customers.
Success in this role comes from a sharp narrative, the right timing, and relentless testing. You'll build the brand and newness playbook with our brand, creative, and merchandising partners, and prove it out with data: designing the tests, reading the results, and turning them into campaigns that perform better each time.
THE ROLE (what you are accountable for):
- Plan, brief, and own the brand and newness campaigns on the marketing calendar — new arrivals, launches, brand moments, and editorial storytelling — across email, SMS, and push.
- Develop the brief and audience for each campaign and partner with creative to bring the story to life.
- Design and run the tests behind your campaigns — subject lines, creative, offers, timing, and audience — and use what you learn to lift performance over time.
- Own the results of your work: track revenue and engagement, know what's working and what isn't, and adjust quickly.
- Serve as CRM's partner to the retail business, supporting store launches, events, and in-store moments in our messaging so online and in-store feel like one brand.
- Use behavioral and purchase-based segmentation to get the right message to the right customer, not just the biggest list.
- Back up promotional and sale messaging during peak periods so the calendar never has a gap.
YOU ARE: You are a performance-driven marketer who knows how to bring a story to life. You can craft a brand narrative compelling enough to drive action, and you're just as at home partnering with creative and copy as you are with the data and analytics team. You plan experiments, read the results, and use what you learn to make each campaign better than the last. You have a strong eye for the brand and sharp briefing instincts, but you lead with performance — you own the numbers, not just the ideas — and you thrive in a fast-paced calendar that shifts late.
REQUIRED MINIMUM EXPERIENCE
- 5-7 years in CRM / lifecycle / campaign marketing, including hands-on email and at least one of SMS or push.
- Experience owning brand, content, or product-launch campaigns for a consumer brand or retailer.
- A track record of briefing creative and running campaigns from concept through performance reporting.
- Comfort with segmentation, A/B testing, and using KPI data to guide decisions.
- Strong writing, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills across brand, creative, merchandising, and retail.
- Ability to manage multiple campaigns and last-minute changes in a deadline-driven environment.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- Apparel, fashion, or e-commerce retail background, with a passion for brand and storytelling.
- Experience supporting retail or stores through CRM or omnichannel campaigns.
- Experience with enterprise CRM/ESP and messaging platforms (e.g., Cordial, Listrak, Attentive, Airship, Salesforce, Iterable, Braze, Klaviyo).
- Working knowledge of email HTML/CSS and responsive templates.
- Familiarity with loyalty and lifecycle programs.
