If you’re after impact, there’s no other organisation in Australia that delivers work on this scale.
You know that to make a meaningful contribution there needs to be connection and collaboration across the teams. Here’s your opportunity to help our people make a big impact.
In this role, you'll:
Lead learning design and delivery for the Digital Systems Program, a large-scale infrastructure program introducing digital train technology across Sydney Trains and NSW TrainLink.
Lead Learning Design Specialists developing classroom, eLearning and technology-enabled training, including simulators, for multiple Sydney Trains cohorts. Work with project teams, suppliers, SMEs and internal designers to conduct Learning Needs Analyses (LNA), develop Learning and Assessment Strategies (LAS), and deliver quality, fit-for-purpose content and competency-based assessments for safety-critical operational roles.
Partner with internal stakeholders, regulators and industry experts to align learning with business needs, compliance obligations and organisational priorities.
Commit to our 50% workplace presence requirement, with our Team Hub located in George St, Sydney.

About you
You have at least five years’ experience designing, developing and evaluating learning solutions in complex environments, including at least one year managing a Learning Design team in a fast-paced setting.
You bring strong stakeholder engagement, negotiation and project management skills, with experience in Learning Needs Analysis (LNA) and developing Learning and Assessment Strategies (LAS), Training and Assessment Strategies (TAS), storyboards and competency-based assessments.
You have successfully led learning projects and teams and confidently use Learning Management Systems (LMS) and digital learning technologies. You deliver quality outcomes in agile environments while balancing changing deadlines, multiple stakeholders and competing business needs.
