Apply Description Position Purpose: The Manager, Marketing Operations is responsible for the technology, processes and data infrastructure that power WorldatWork’s marketing programs. This role owns the day-to-day management and optimization of marketing automation, email operations, database, audience segmentation, campaign workflows and marketing technology, with a particular focus on HubSpot and its integration with Salesforce. Working across Marketing, Membership, Education, Events, Research and other business teams, the Manager, Marketing Operations translates marketing strategies into scalable, measurable campaigns and customer journeys. The role partners closely with other members of the marketing team to ensure marketing activities are appropriately tracked, measured and optimized. This is a hands-on role for a marketing operations professional who combines technical expertise with an understanding of customer experience and digital marketing. Primary Responsibilities: Own the administration, governance and optimization of HubSpot and serve as Marketing’s primary partner for its integration with Salesforce and other marketing platforms. Manage end-to-end email marketing operations, including campaign builds, testing, scheduling, deployment, quality assurance, deliverability and ongoing optimization. Develop and manage marketing automation, nurture programs and lifecycle journeys that support acquisition, engagement, conversion, renewal and re-engagement across WorldatWork programs and audiences. Own marketing audience segmentation and targeting, including dynamic lists, personalization, suppression criteria and campaign audiences, in partnership with internal business and data stakeholders. Ensure accurate flow and appropriate use of marketing and customer data across HubSpot, Salesforce and other platforms; partner with internal teams on data quality, governance and database health. Translate campaign and business objectives into scalable marketing workflows and automated customer experiences, identifying opportunities to connect audiences across membership, education, research, events and other offerings. Establish and maintain standards for campaign setup, tracking, lead capture, lifecycle management and marketing data practices to support consistent execution and measurement. Serve as Marketing’s martech subject-matter expert, evaluating platforms, integrations and process improvements and partnering with IT, vendors and internal stakeholders to optimize the marketing technology ecosystem. Partner with integrated marketing, growth and analytics, creative and agency resources to execute high-volume, multi-channel campaigns efficiently and effectively. Continuously identify opportunities to automate manual processes, improve workflows and increase the efficiency, quality and scalability of marketing operations. *Provide outstanding customer service both internally and externally, while performing other duties as assigned. *Individuals may perform other duties as assigned, including work in other functional areas to cover absences or relief, to equalize peak work periods, or otherwise to contribute to the organization when needed. Requirements Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in marketing operations, marketing automation, lifecycle marketing, CRM or related disciplines, with demonstrated ownership of marketing systems and processes. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Significant hands-on experience with the HubSpot platform required; Salesforce experience strongly preferred. Demonstrated experience developing and executing email campaigns, automated workflows, audience segmentation, personalization and customer lifecycle journeys. Strong understanding of CRM and marketing automation integrations, including data flows, lead capture, campaign tracking and lifecycle management. Experience with email deliverability, testing, quality assurance and optimization, with a strong understanding of email marketing best practices. Experience managing marketing data quality, audience segmentation and database governance in partnership with CRM, technology or other internal stakeholders. Strong understanding of digital campaign tracking and measurement, including UTM structures, campaign taxonomy and attribution fundamentals. Demonstrated ability to translate marketing and business objectives into scalable technical solutions, automated workflows and efficient processes. Strong project management, analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume marketing environment. Collaborative and service-oriented approach, with the ability to work effectively across the broader Marketing team, technology partners, business stakeholders and external vendors. Experience supporting multiple products, audiences or business lines in an association, membership organization, B2B or similarly complex marketing environment preferred. Supervisory Responsibilities: N/A At WorldatWork, we offer a competitive and comprehensive total rewards package. The hiring range for this position is $95,000 to $130,000 plus eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus with a target of 10% of base salary. This position may be worked remotely.
