Position Summary The Regional Sales Manager – Food Ingredients is responsible for managing product sales and achieving sales volume and profitability targets. What You'll Do Manage designated territory to achieve sales, volume, margin, and profitability targets. Grow existing business while identifying, developing, and closing new sales opportunities. Develop and execute strategic account plans that deliver customer growth and profitability objectives. Lead pricing, contract negotiations, and commercial agreements to maximize value and market competitiveness. Build and maintain strong relationships across multiple levels of customer organizations, including procurement, operations, quality, R&D, and executive leadership. Identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive activity to uncover growth opportunities and mitigate business risks. Promote new products, innovations, and value-added solutions to existing and prospective customers. Manage and leverage broker, distributor, and direct account relationships to accelerate business growth. Lead the execution of national account programs and customer initiatives within the region. Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, Quality, and R&D to ensure successful customer execution. Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipeline management, CRM updates, and business reporting. Provide leadership with timely insights into customer performance, market conditions, competitive activity, and growth opportunities. Represent the company at customer meetings, industry events, and trade associations. Support cross-functional projects, process improvements, and other initiatives that contribute to organizational success. What Skills You'll Bring Highly motivated, self-starter sale professional that is result driven with strong hunter mentality. Exercises sound business judgment to negotiate effective agreements and build long-term customer partnerships. Strong organizational, planning, problem solving, and analytical skills. High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint). Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 is desirable. Broad-based business acumen with strong strategic thinking, independent decision-making, and sound risk assessment capabilities. Education/Experience/Qualifications/Certifications: BA or BS degree 5 years of combined experience in food sales, technical, &/or broker management Proven track record in proactively identifying and developing new sales leads through targeted prospecting, research, networking, referrals and other lead generating channels Must possess demonstrated ability to manage, build, and enhance the overall value of Mizkan Food Ingredient business. Food ingredient experience preferred. Previous P&L experience preferred. Broker management required. Physical Requirements & Work Conditions: Remote work with convenient access to major U.S. based airport. Regular, predictable attendance during core business hours in a remote work environment is an essential function of this position. Employees are expected to be responsive, accessible, and actively engaged throughout the workday. Travel up to 25% Work Location & Schedule This position is a fully remote role, allowing employees to work remotely while maintaining regular collaboration with cross-functional teams and business partners. Compensation Annual Salary Range: $100,000 - $130,000 Compensation is based on a variety of factors, including geographic market, education, skills, experience, and internal equity. Actual compensation may vary from the posted range. Bonus Eligibility: This position is eligible for a 20 % Short-Term Incentive Plan (STIP) Bonus opportunity.
