The Manager, SC Program is responsible for the leadership, development, and oversight of the Specimen Collection Program. This role manages SC Support Leads and Specimen Collectors, ensures compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements, oversees operational processes, training programs, budget management, performance management, and engagement initiatives, while supporting the successful execution of specimen collection services across the organization. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Manage and support SC Support Leads and Specimen Collectors, including hiring, coaching, performance management, and development Oversee ADP functions, including timekeeping, payroll-related processes, attendance, and time-off management Manage the SC Program budget, including resource planning, expense monitoring, and financial accountability Oversee MOTUS administration, ensuring accuracy, reporting, and audits Ensure compliance with company policies, HIPAA requirements, SOPs, and applicable regulations Develop, implement, and maintain training programs for Specimen Collectors and SC Support Leads Track training completion and assessment of team competency Lead SC Program operations and serve as a point of escalation for collection-related issues Oversee performance management processes, including goal setting, coaching, documentation, corrective actions, and employee development planning Lead SC Program engagement initiatives designed to improve team member satisfaction, retention, communication, and organizational culture Monitor and report on program performance, compliance, staffing, and training metrics Ensure audits, quality reviews, and implementation activities are completed accurately and on time Manage quality control processes and ensure collection-related issues are addressed promptly and effectively Monitor equipment, inventory, and supply needs and coordinate procurement as necessary Partner with Sales, Operations, ASM, RSM, and internal stakeholders to support business initiatives and client needs Provide workforce planning and resource deployment oversight to ensure effective utilization of personnel and operational resources Promote Aegis culture, engagement, and organizational values throughout the Collection Team Lead process improvement efforts and support strategic initiatives Adhere to confidentiality and HIPAA requirements and compliance with all applicable safety requirements Other duties as assigned Leadership Duties Lead, develop, and manage SC Support Leads and Collection Team members through coaching, mentoring, performance management, and career development Direct training initiatives across the SC Program to ensure consistent onboarding, competency, and operational excellence Establish performance expectations and accountability measures that align with organizational goals Oversee employee engagement, recognition, and retention initiatives within the SC Program Utilize reporting and performance metrics to drive decision-making and improve team effectiveness Foster a culture of compliance, quality, safety, collaboration, and continuous improvement through compassionate leadership, accountability, and teamwork Other Duties & Responsibilities Contribute to process improvement and operational excellence initiatives Partner with team members and stakeholders to support department and company objectives Lead by professional example and foster a collaborative, team-oriented environment Demonstrate flexibility, organization, and adaptability while managing changing priorities and business needs Other duties as required and assigned Education & Experience High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred A minimum of two (2) years of experience in management, leadership, or Specimen Collection required Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to interact and adapt with all levels of team members Proven track record of meeting deadlines and prioritizing workload Ability to use good judgment and work independently Ability to handle multiple tasks without sacrificing quality Candidates can reside in any of the areas listed (other areas will also be considered) since most of the work is remote Aegis Sciences Corporation is an Equal Opportunity Employer
