Cohesity is seeking a highly motivated Manufacturing Engineer to support the high-volume manufacturing of industry-leading storage server platforms. In this role, you will leverage your technical expertise to drive manufacturing excellence across an expanding product portfolio and global contract manufacturing network. Key Responsibilities: Drive the optimization, qualification, and continuous improvement of complex manufacturing processes, ensuring packaging, tooling, and production documentation are delivered on schedule. Improve product manufacturability by reducing cost, enhancing quality, and influencing technical design decisions. Lead and support Root Cause Analysis (RCA) activities, driving corrective and preventive actions through to closure. Develop and execute manufacturing strategies in partnership with suppliers and contract manufacturers to improve production efficiency, scalability, and supply continuity. Drive the successful introduction and integration of new and existing storage server platforms, increasing product quality and manufacturing velocity. Serve as the primary manufacturing interface between Cohesity and its global contract manufacturing partners. Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, operations, supply chain, quality, and supplier teams to resolve production challenges and support product launches. WE'D LOVE TO TALK IF YOU HAVE MANY OF THE FOLLOWING: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline. 1–2 years of progressive experience in manufacturing engineering, product industrialization, operations engineering, or a related field. Working knowledge of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems; Arena experience preferred. Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Basic knowledge of server (1U, 2U), storage (HDD, SSDs), and networking peripherals. Some Compliance knowledge.
