Location: Turkey (100% Remote within Turkey, with extensive field travel)

Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Compensation: €18,000 – €24,000 gross base per year + up to 10% performance bonus

Vacation: 30 days per year

We are a certified international leader in trading, transporting, and consulting on sustainable raw materials for biodiesel, HVO, and biogas production. Headquartered in Germany, our mission is to drive the global energy transition by supplying waste-based feedstocks that significantly reduce carbon emissions. As we expand our global footprint, we are looking for our first team member in Turkey to spearhead local market development and build our presence from the ground up.

Role Overview

As a Market Development Specialist, you will take full ownership of building our supplier network and go-to-market strategies across Turkey. Working closely with our German headquarters and trading teams, you will identify opportunities, source biological residues, negotiate contracts, and establish long-term partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

• Market & Field Research: Conduct on-the-ground market research to identify prospective suppliers, facilities, and production sites across Turkey.

• Go-to-Market Execution: Develop and implement sourcing plans for biological residues and by-products.

• Relationship Management: Build, negotiate, and maintain sustainable, long-term relationships with local stakeholders and C-level executives.

• End-to-End Ownership: Lead projects independently from initial outreach through contract conclusion and ongoing management.

• Procurement & Logistics Support: Assist the global trading team with purchasing and resale, and coordinate transport/logistics operations for sourced materials.

• Reporting & Strategy: Provide continuous local market insights and report progress against defined KPIs.

Requirements

• Language Proficiency: Native/Fluent Turkish (C2) with deep knowledge of Turkish business culture and etiquette. Confident English skills (B2/C1 minimum) for daily international communication.

• Professional Experience: Practical experience in trading, logistics, supply chain management, procurement, or related commercial sectors (open to early-career professionals).

• Travel Flexibility: Willingness and ability to travel extensively throughout Turkey (including overnight stays) to visit suppliers and production sites, alongside occasional trips to German headquarters.

• Soft Skills: Highly self-reliant, curious, goal-oriented, and comfortable communicating with executive-level stakeholders.

• Technical Skills: Proficient in standard Business Software / MS Office tools.
