Marketing Associate - EMS (Hybrid)

Work Flexibility: Hybrid

*This role will be on a hybrid schedule at our Portage, MI office (3 days/week onsite)

Coordinates and manages sales support through the education of the sales team on the current product portfolio, problem-solving, tool development, and projects as assigned for our EMS portfolio

What you will do:

• Provides support to marketing managers in the development and sales support of one or more marketing segments.
• Helps to coordinate and develop marketing tools, assists with trade shows, literature development, presentations and publicity.
• Provides sales support to account managers with regard to fact-finding, information gathering, assistance in proposal development, customer site visits, and customer sales calls.
• Collect, analyze and maintain an up-to-date library of competitive product information.
• Provide input on new product development.
• Provide sales training on assigned products, as required. Participate in customer visits as requested.
• Participate in the pursuit of new business opportunities and new markets, as necessary.
• Coordinate orders with customer service.
• Provide unparalleled sales support by answering questions/resolving account manager/customer questions.
• Provide sales force with competitive and technical data on a timely basis.
• Accountable for all record keeping as appropriate and in accordance with Stryker specifications.
• Other general and specified duties may be assigned, consistent with the company’s goals, objectives and interests.

What you need:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sales, Advertising, Business, or related field.
• Ability to travel up to 75% domestically

Preferred:

• Excellent analytical and negotiation skills.
• Demonstrated written and oral communication skills, including the ability to speak effectively in front of large groups of people.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects.
• Strong word processing and spreadsheet skills are essential, as is experience in project management.

United States of America Pay Range:

• USN: $59,900 - $83,300 USD Annual

Work Flexibility

• Remote – Role allows you to work the majority to 100% of time from an alternate workplace. These roles could have travel expectations, and you must work within the country of the job requisition location.

• Field-based – You can expect to regularly work a majority to 100% of time at customer facilities and has a set territory or expectation to travel within a set boundary. Almost all sales roles would likely be qualified as field-based.

• Onsite – Role is 100% located at a Stryker facility. Some ad hoc flexibility may be available depending on role, level, and job requirements. Manufacturing roles and any role that requires physical presence at the office would qualify under this category.

• Hybrid – You can expect to regularly work in both an alternate workplace and a Stryker facility. Roles that are partially remote or co-located would qualify as hybrid, and the expectation to be onsite would be defined and agreed upon by your manager/supervisor.
