Shawbrook's ambition is to be the best specialist lender for the real economy. We give more businesses, property investors and people the confidence to act and the funding to succeed. We pair investment in technology and data with the expertise and relationships of our people, so customers get expertise that feels personal, backed by a strong bank.
SME is a large and varied market for Shawbrook. We serve small and medium sized businesses through four brands: Shawbrook, ThinCats, JBR and Playter. Each has its own customers and its own voice, and many customers reach us through brokers, dealers and other intermediaries.
Our people are what set us apart. They are close to each market, so they understand what our customers, and the people who work with them, really need. In SME marketing, that means knowing each brand and its audiences, and turning that knowledge into marketing that feels personal.
Join Shawbrook because you:
- Want to help us strengthen our expertise and to deliver stand-out work that leverages the best in technology and data.
- Want to build a bank for the future that delivers incredible experiences and outcomes for customers who are on a mission of their own.
- Want to continue to grow professionally. We encourage you to grow and be the best version of yourself.
- Care about sustainability? We want to have a positive impact on our people, environment and society.
- Bring passion and enjoyment to your work and to help us enrich our culture of being always creative, personal and practical.
The Marketing Executive, SME supports the delivery of Shawbrook's marketing across our SME brands (Shawbrook, ThinCats, JBR and Playter) and key propositions. Working closely with the Channel Marketing Managers, SME, the role turns plans into well-run activity, keeping campaigns, content and events on time, on brief and on budget.
Many of our SME customers come to us through brokers, dealers and other intermediaries, and the role helps us reach them with clear, useful and well timed marketing. It is a hands-on role, and a good place to learn how marketing works in a specialist bank.
Marketing at Shawbrook is built around specialist teams for PR, content, social and events. You will work with them day to day, helping the Channel Marketing Managers keep plans up to date and everyone clear on who is doing what. You will also build your knowledge of the SME market, including customers, intermediaries and competitors, and work with colleagues in the Origination, Product, Portfolio, Finance and Compliance teams.
