Airbnb was born in 2007 when two hosts welcomed three guests to their San Francisco home, and has since grown to over 5 million hosts who have welcomed over 2 billion guest arrivals in almost every country across the globe. Every day, hosts offer unique stays and experiences that make it possible for guests to connect with communities in a more authentic way.
The Community You Will Join
The Difference You Will Make
A Typical Day
- Build and run marketing campaigns on partner channels — bookable placements, integrations, co-branded content, social, email, and on-site/in-venue activations
- Act as the day-to-day marketing counterpart to each partner's marketing team, owning the marketing relationship alongside the Partnership Lead who owns the deal
- Brief and partner with Creative to produce assets sized for partner channels, and manage a two-way approvals path between Airbnb and partner brand teams
- Maintain a rolling marketing calendar per partner, synced to both the partner's roadmap and Airbnb's central marketing calendar — including multi-year views for anchor partnerships
- Define and report on the brand metrics that matter per partner, partnering with Business Operations and Finance, and feed findings back into planning
- Deliver real-time, in-market marketing during live moments like major events and brand activations, often on compressed timelines
- Represent partner marketing in Airbnb's broader Marketing planning cycles, keeping Partnerships, PGM, Creative, Comms, and Regional Marketing aligned on what's launching, when, and why
Your Expertise
- 10+ years of experience in brand, partner, or integrated marketing, with hands-on campaign delivery — not strategy alone
- Direct experience marketing with or through external partners, such as co-marketing, sponsorships, brand collaborations, or channel/affiliate marketing
- A track record running campaigns end-to-end: brief, creative development, approvals, launch, and measurement
- Strong partner-facing instincts, with the credibility to be the calm, trusted presence in a room with another company's marketing or partnerships team
- Comfort moving fluidly between brand and performance conversations — able to defend a creative choice and speak to the bookings it drove
- Experience building process and structure in ambiguous, undefined environments
- Familiarity with co-branded measurement approaches such as incrementality, brand lift studies, or attribution across partner-owned media is a plus, as is experience with major sports, entertainment, or travel partners and live event activation
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and progressive experience
