Apply Job Type Full-time Description Marketing Manager Location: Hybrid – New Jersey (2 days in-office / 3 days remote) Reports To: Chief Growth Officer Type: Full-Time Salary: $120-150K + benefits Celerant Technology is a leading retail software company with over 26 years of experience helping retailers modernize operations, drive revenue, and simplify complexity through integrated point of sale, eCommerce, inventory management, digital marketing, and omnichannel commerce solutions. We serve a wide range of retail verticals including sporting goods, firearms, pet, apparel, bike, equestrian, and specialty retail — working closely with some of the industry’s leading technology partners, distributors, and manufacturers. Today, Celerant is entering an exciting new phase of growth — expanding internationally with our UK office, launching a next-generation commerce platform, and bringing major new initiatives to market across AI, retail technology, and digital commerce. We move fast, innovate constantly, and care deeply about our clients, our partnerships, and our people. Position Overview We are seeking a highly driven, creative, and strategic Marketing Manager to lead our growing global marketing team and help drive the next phase of Celerant’s growth. This is a pivotal time for the company. As Celerant expands internationally, grows its presence in the UK market, launches an entirely new next-generation commerce platform, and brings multiple major initiatives to market, marketing will play a critical role in shaping our growth strategy, brand positioning, and lead generation efforts. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and knows how to balance strategy with execution. The ideal candidate is equal parts marketer, project manager, communicator, and team leader — capable of developing compelling campaigns while also keeping initiatives organized, moving, and measurable. You will oversee a global marketing team of six across content, digital marketing, and events, while also coordinating with two dedicated SEO and PPC specialists supporting specific campaigns and growth initiatives. This role works closely with sales, strategic partnerships, product teams, executive leadership, and our UK office to help support both domestic and international growth. A strong background in B2B lead generation, messaging, digital marketing, and HubSpot is essential. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building campaigns that generate measurable results, leading creative collaboration, managing multiple initiatives simultaneously, and helping shape the voice and direction of a rapidly evolving technology company. Key Responsibilities Marketing Strategy & Demand Generation Develop and execute integrated marketing strategies aligned with company growth objectives. Drive multi-channel lead generation campaigns across email, content, digital advertising, webinars, events, SEO, social media, and strategic partnerships. Monitor campaign performance, optimize conversion metrics, and report on marketing ROI. Identify new opportunities, trends, and competitive insights within retail technology and SaaS markets. Team Leadership & Project Management Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing global marketing team. Manage timelines, priorities, workflows, and cross-functional collaboration across multiple concurrent projects. Foster a creative, accountable, and results-oriented team environment. Coordinate with external vendors, agencies, media partners, and industry organizations. Messaging, Content & Brand Strategy Help shape and evolve the company’s messaging, positioning, and brand voice. Lead content strategy focused on engagement, lead generation, customer retention, and thought leadership. Collaborate closely with content writers and designers to create compelling campaigns and marketing assets. Ensure consistency across all channels including website, email, advertising, PR, social media, and sales enablement materials. HubSpot & Marketing Operations Utilize HubSpot CRM and marketing automation tools to manage campaigns, workflows, lead scoring, reporting, and segmentation. Collaborate with sales leadership to improve lead flow, nurturing, handoff processes, and reporting visibility. Continuously improve marketing processes, reporting, and operational efficiency. Digital Marketing Oversee digital marketing initiatives including SEO, PPC, email marketing, social media, retargeting, and website optimization. Partner with the digital team to improve website performance, user engagement, and conversion rates. Analyze performance metrics and adjust strategy based on data and business goals. Events, PR & Communications Lead marketing support for trade shows, webinars, client conferences, and industry events. Work closely with the event coordinator to execute successful event campaigns and maximize ROI. Support public relations initiatives, partner marketing opportunities, and company communications. Qualifications 5+ years of marketing experience with proven success in B2B lead generation and campaign execution. Prior experience leading or managing a marketing team. Strong experience with HubSpot CRM and marketing automation. Exceptional communication, creative writing, and messaging skills. Strong understanding of digital marketing, content strategy, SEO, email marketing, and social media. Highly organized with strong project management and multitasking abilities.
