Some roles start with a job description.
This one starts with a question:
What’s the sports moment that made you fall in love with the game?
If you’re the kind of person who checks scores before emails, has opinions on the latest sports campaign, and sees the business behind the game, we might have a seat reserved for you.
About the Team
TEC works at the intersection of sport and business, partnering with some of the biggest names, leagues, and organizations in the industry. We're looking for someone who doesn't just work in sports marketing — they live in it. If you can't go a day without checking scores, debating a controversial call, or geeking out over a brand activation you saw at a major event, keep reading.
The Role
We're looking for a world-class marketer to become the voice of TEC — inside and outside the company. This isn't a "post and pray" marketing role. It's a seat at the table, working directly with clients who are some of the biggest organizations in sports, and working just as closely with the people inside TEC who make the work possible.
You'll be equal parts storyteller, strategist, and connector — someone who can walk into a room with a major sports client and hold their own, then walk back into the office and rally the team around what's next.
What You'll Do
- Own and elevate the TEC brand voice across every external touchpoint — from client-facing materials to social, PR, and industry events
- Build and manage relationships with high-profile sports clients and partners, acting as a trusted face of TEC in every interaction
- Develop and execute marketing strategies that support business growth and deepen client relationships
- Champion internal communication — keeping the TEC team informed, engaged, and proud to be part of what we're building
- Spot and capitalize on real-time sports and cultural moments that connect to our brand and our clients' brands
- Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, client services, and leadership to align marketing with business goals
What You Bring
- A genuine, deep love of sports — you follow it, you talk about it, you understand its culture and its business
- Proven experience in marketing, ideally with exposure to sports, entertainment, or client-facing brand work
- A track record of building relationships with high-level clients or partners
- Exceptional communication skills — written, verbal, and interpersonal — you can adapt your voice for a locker room or a boardroom
- A collaborative, people-first mindset — you build energy in a team, not just campaigns
- Comfort operating with autonomy and ownership in a fast-moving environment
- Strong project management skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities and stakeholders
Nice to Have
- Existing relationships or network within professional sports organizations or leagues
- Experience with sports sponsorship, partnerships, or activations
- A social media presence or personal brand rooted in sports culture
Why TEC
- Work directly with some of the most recognizable organizations in sports
- A team culture built on passion, not just performance
- Real ownership over the brand's voice and direction
