Role Description This is a part-time hybrid Marketing Manager role based in the City of Cape Town, with flexibility for some work from home. The Marketing Manager will plan and execute marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels, monitor performance, and optimize activities to meet growth targets. Daily tasks include developing messaging and content, managing social media and email marketing, coordinating with internal teams and external partners, and maintaining brand consistency. The role also involves market research, competitor analysis, and reporting on key metrics to inform strategic decisions. The Marketing Manager will collaborate closely with leadership to align marketing initiatives with business objectives and ensure timely delivery of campaigns.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in marketing strategy, campaign planning, and brand management.
- Skills in digital marketing, including social media management, email marketing, and basic analytics.
- Ability to conduct market and competitor research and translate insights into actionable plans.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to create clear, engaging marketing copy and presentations.
- Proven organizational and project management abilities, including prioritizing tasks in a part-time environment.
- Comfort working in a hybrid setup, collaborating both in-person in Cape Town and remotely.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field is beneficial.
- Prior experience in a growing or small business environment and familiarity with basic design tools (e.g., Canva, PowerPoint) are advantageous.
