Job Description
This is a remote position.
What You’ll Do
- Identify and coordinate event partnerships across the U.S. and Canada, both remotely and on-site (some travel required).
- Manage event activations, ensuring smooth execution and creative brand representation.
- Explore and manage non-event partnerships, including TV sponsorships, original content, charity, or sports collaborations.
- Research and recommend paid digital marketing opportunities.
- Collaborate with the global marketing team to develop new and creative strategies to grow Growlr’s brand presence in North America.
- Help research, negotiate, and manage social media influencer partnerships.
Requirements
Who you are
- Experienced in events, nightlife, or community marketing.
- Proficient in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
- Deeply engaged with LGBTQ+ culture and current queer trends.
- Creative thinker with a strong point of view and an eye for unexpected, authentic ideas.
- Highly organized and dependable, with a proven track record of managing projects independently.
- Skilled at problem-solving in real-time during live events or partnerships.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Collaborative team player who is also self-motivated and resourceful.
- Strong research and sourcing abilities (e.g., locating vendors for branded materials, assessing production methods, pricing, and delivery logistics).
- Friendly, professional, and outgoing — a confident brand ambassador for Growlr.
