About the Role

Mini Katana is looking for an experienced Marketing & Website Manager to oversee our promotional calendar, lifecycle marketing, website merchandising, and product-launch execution.

You will coordinate multiple team members and ensure that our email, SMS, website, inventory, photography, and product information are fully aligned before each launch. This role is ideal for someone with strong e-commerce experience who can manage people, projects, and deadlines while maintaining a high standard of execution.

Key ResponsibilitiesEmail & SMS Marketing

• Own and maintain the promotional marketing calendar.
• Coordinate campaign schedules, deadlines, and deliverables.
• Review email and SMS campaigns for accuracy, quality, and brand alignment.
• Coordinate copy, design, product information, and launch details across the team.
• Monitor campaign performance and recommend additional sends when needed.
• Oversee Klaviyo campaigns, automated flows, segmentation, and lifecycle strategy.
• Manage the Postscript SMS program and related migration or integration projects.
• Coordinate email and SMS planning for major promotional periods, including Black Friday and Cyber Monday.

Website Management

• Own final website merchandising and launch QA.
• Review and approve new product listings before publication.
• Maintain product-naming, pricing, and merchandising standards.
• Confirm that Shopify templates, tags, collections, SEO fields, and product types are correct.
• Coordinate website updates and manage the team members responsible for implementation.
• Escalate Shopify, application, or integration issues when necessary.
• Monitor website performance during launches and major promotions.
• Coordinate troubleshooting and ensure website issues are resolved promptly.

Product Launch Management

• Connect inventory availability with launch and marketing dates.
• Confirm whether products are in stock, on preorder, on presale, or delayed.
• Adjust campaigns and timelines when inventory estimates change.
• Ensure product pages, inventory, photography, email, SMS, and content are aligned before launch.
• Make or escalate go/no-go launch decisions.
• Maintain clear ownership, timelines, and accountability across everyone involved in a launch.

Team & Project Management

• Manage and coordinate multiple team members across marketing, creative, website, and operational functions.
• Assign responsibilities, track progress, and follow up on incomplete deliverables.
• Lead regular campaign and launch check-ins.
• Identify workflow gaps and improve internal processes.
• Keep leadership informed of risks, delays, and important decisions.

Requirements

• At least 3–5 years of experience in e-commerce marketing, website management, lifecycle marketing, or a similar role.
• Hands-on experience with Shopify and Klaviyo.
• Experience with SMS platforms such as Postscript is strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of email marketing, e-commerce promotions, product launches, and website merchandising.
• Previous experience managing or coordinating multiple people.
• Excellent project-management, communication, and organizational skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Comfortable reviewing marketing materials and website content for accuracy and quality.
• Able to work independently in a fast-moving remote environment.
• Comfortable occasionally joining morning or evening calls because some team members are based in Asia.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working for a consumer, lifestyle, collectibles, entertainment, or direct-to-consumer brand.
• Experience coordinating major promotional periods such as Black Friday and Cyber Monday.
• Familiarity with Shopify integrations and troubleshooting.
• Experience managing remote or international team members.
• Strong understanding of retention marketing and customer lifecycle strategy.
