Media Research Analyst

About the role: We are looking for a Media Research Analyst with a keen eye for detail and strong analytical abilities. The ideal candidate will excel in researching media personalities; extracting relevant information from various sources, and analyzing data for actionable insights. This role requires excellent research skills, media proficiency and strong command over the English language. Key Responsibilities: • Media Research: Conduct in-depth research on media personalities; gathering accurate and comprehensive information from online and offline sources. • Article Analysis: Read and understand articles related to media figures, identifying and extracting key details for further analysis. • Social Media Data Extraction: Extract and analyze data from social media platforms to monitor trends and gather insights on media personalities. • Internet Surfing: Efficiently use the internet to source information. • Data Management: Use MS Excel or Google Sheets to organize, manage, and analyze research data, ensuring accuracy and consistency. • Analytical Thinking: Apply strong analytical skills to interpret researched data. • Communication: Clearly and effectively communicate research findings through reports, presentations, and team discussions Required Skills: 0–1 years of experience Strong social media detail extraction and good research skills Proficiency in Google Sheets and Windows operating systems Good communication skills for clear articulation of research findings Good analytical skills to assess and interpret data accurately Experience with internet surfing for research purposes Preferred Experience: Prior experience in media research or a similar role is highly desirable. Familiarity with current media trends and key personalities. Preferred academic background in BMM or a related field.
