Responsibilities: Assist medical professionals with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and handling billing and insurance matters. Handle patient inquiries and provide accurate and empathetic responses. Coordinate with healthcare providers to ensure seamless patient care. Prepare and update medical documents, reports, and correspondence. Manage electronic health records (EHR) and maintain patient confidentiality. Collaborate with medical staff to organize virtual medical consultations. Perform basic medical research and assist in creating medical content. Requirements: Proven experience as a Medical Assistant, Medical Secretary, or similar role. Proficiency in medical terminology and understanding of medical procedures. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and manage tasks efficiently. Proficiency in using medical software, EHR systems, and Microsoft Office Suite. Comfortable with virtual communication tools such as Zoom or Skype. High-speed internet connection and a reliable computer setup. Preferred Qualifications: Medical Assistant certification or related healthcare certification. Previous experience with telemedicine platforms. Knowledge of medical billing and insurance processes. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and patient data privacy.
