Medior Pega Engineer

We are looking for a skilled Medior Pega Engineer to join an in-house technology consultancy of a global consulting firm on a Permanent contract. In this role, you will play an integral part in building, modernizing, and maintaining enterprise-scale BPM workflows, supporting integration points, and delivering clean, reliable solutions across core business applications. Working within a collaborative, international team, you will take active ownership of features from technical analysis through implementation and production deployment.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Building, refining, and supporting robust workflows and Case Management solutions within Pega 7 and Pega 8 environments.
• Implementing and maintaining Data Pages, flows, Job Schedulers, and Queue Processors to guarantee system responsiveness and stability.
• Supporting hands-on integration tasks connecting Pega applications to external systems, databases, and event-streaming platforms like Kafka.
• Participating in log analysis, performance troubleshooting, and basic root-cause investigation within the application layer.
• Collaborating in an agile environment, supporting automated test executions, and contributing to continuous delivery improvements.

What We’re Looking For:

• 4–6 years of commercial experience developing enterprise software within Pega 7/8.
• Good understanding of core Pega architecture principles, including Enterprise Class Structure (ECS), the application layer cake, data modeling, and rule resolution.
• Consultant mindset: high technical curiosity, clear communication skills, proactive approach to problem-solving, and openness to constructive feedback.
• Basic grasp of test automation practices; familiarity with CI/CD deployment pipelines is a distinct advantage.
• Prior exposure to Pega 8 migrations or Apache Kafka integration patterns is strongly preferred.

Must-Haves:

• Certified Senior System Architect (Pega CSSA) certification.
• 4–6 years of hands-on Pega engineering experience (Pega 7/8).
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline.
• Strong professional English proficiency for daily international collaboration.

• 100% Remote working model (within Poland)
