Mendix Developer – Rotterdam

Permanent position | Hybrid working | €5,000–€5,700 base salary per month

Would you like to use your Mendix expertise to develop applications with real societal impact? We are looking for a Mendix Developer to join an international scale-up focused on sustainability and ESG.

You will work with a close-knit international team to develop, improve and maintain applications that help organisations work towards their sustainability goals.

The role

Together with customers and partners, you will translate business requirements into high-quality, scalable solutions. Your work will include developing a core ESG platform, implementing tailored application templates and building custom applications with AI integrations.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Developing, optimising and maintaining Mendix applications.
• Translating customer requirements into technical solutions.
• Building custom features and implementing reusable application templates.
• Working on integrations, including AI functionality.
• Taking a proactive role in customer projects and internal initiatives.
• Helping improve the platform and development processes.

You will have the opportunity to grow into a leading role within customer projects.

Your profile

• At least 2–3 years of Mendix development experience, preferably in a customer-facing or IT consultancy role.
• Mendix Advanced Certification, which is a mandatory requirement. Expert Certification is a strong advantage.
• A proactive approach and the ambition to take ownership of projects.
• Excellent English communication skills at C1 level or above. Dutch is not required.
• The ability to thrive in a dynamic, growing scale-up.
• An interest in sustainability and ESG. Experience in this field or with AI integrations in Mendix is a plus.

• A base salary of €5,000–€5,400 per month, plus a variable compensation structure.
• 30 days of annual leave, based on a 40-hour working week.
• Hybrid working, with a shared office in Rotterdam and flexibility to work partly from home.
